Park Patrol is looking to add volunteers with a special interest in assisting at the Cosmo Skate Park. Learn more about joining the Park Patrol.
First Night will need dozens of volunteers for the annual New Year's Eve celebration at various downtown Columbia sites. Let us know if you are interested in volunteering as a children's art assistant, a button seller, an usher or an event ambassador! Volunteers receive a free entry button to the event.
Jump-rope leaders wanted for “Hoppers”: Parks and Recreation is looking for one or two dedicated leaders willing to “jump” start the Hoppers jump-rope program this fall for kids 8-18 years of age. The training schedule is flexible; volunteers should commit to 1-3 hours per week over several weeks to practices and performances. Art teachers or those who have a special art skill and have an interest in serving those with disabilities are needed to assist in the Adapted Recreation Program at Paquin Towers. Let us know if you are interested and we'll connect you with staff in Columbia Parks & Recreation.

We are located at 1 S. 7th Street in the Gentry Building. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We look forward to your visit!

What is Volunteer Columbia?

Volunteer Columbia connects citizens who want to serve with city staff and departments who have opportunities to help! The mission of the City's Office of Volunteer Services is to provide valuable opportunities to build community while volunteering in city government.
