Welcome to the City of Columbia Public Works Department! The Public Works staff is dedicated to providing customer-friendly service while maintaining the City’s infrastructure, protecting the public safety and environment, and providing transportation opportunities to residents and area businesses. Announcements -

Bike, Walk, and Wheel Week - May 13-17. Your bike is your ticket to ride transit all week. All buses have bike rakes so ride to the transit stop, put your bike in the rack, and ride for free. Thursday, May 16 is Try Transit Day. Ride Transit on all routes system wide FREE!
