Annual funding from the 2010 Park Sales Tax to be used to acquire, construct or repair new or existing trails and trail related amenities, such as bridges. Funds may also be used as a match for future grants.

Project Description: Improvements to the pedestrian bridge located on the Hinkson Creek Trail at Capen Park.

Project Status: Received notice of a Recreation Trails Program (RTP) grant award in the amount of $100,000. The City Council approved the project and authorized the grant agreement at the November 4, 2013 Council Meeting. The construction bid has been approved by the grant agency; executing of contract is pending.
