Project Description: Improvements along Providence Road in front of Douglass Park and High School. Improvements include sidewalk infrastructure, fencing, landscaping and turf. Citizens are raising funds for a memorial to Beula Ralph as part of this improvement project. These donations will fund a memorial bench with a paver patio to be installed along the sidewalk as a memorial to Beula Ralph who worked at Douglass High School for over 50 years.

Project Notes: This project came about as part of the Providence Road Improvement Project. The interested parties meetings were conducted by Public Works.
Project Status: Project was approved by City Council on 5/7/2013. Construction can proceed after June 17, 2013 - after the PedNet Coalition completes their pedestrian study at the site.
