2010 Happy New U Event
The Mayor's Council on Physical Fitness and Health is hosting Columbia's second annual "Happy New U" fitness event. Held at Columbia's Activity & Recreation Center (ARC) from
9:00 am-12:00 noon, this free community event will have Columbia's fitness experts conducting mini-workouts and demonstrations to show the variety of exercise options that are available in our city. Our goal with this event is to help Columbians get a jump start on New Year's resolutions, get moving and to stay moving longer by connecting them with local fitness options and professionals that will be the best match for them. Last year's event attracted over 200 people that kicked off the New Year with a renewed commitment to health and fitness.
