- The lake on the Philips property will officially open to the public for fishing on July 18.
- Discounted Theme Park Tickets Tickets can be purchased at the Parks & Recreation office located at One South 7th Street, during normal business hours Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm. For ticket availability, call 573-874-7460. Tickets can be purchased with a Visa, MasterCard, check or cash.
- Parks and Recreation is launching a Stop the spread! campaign to encourage the community to stop planting Callery pear trees. Click here for more information, and click here for a list of alternative trees.
- Capital Improvement Program Webpage: You can now find out the status of Parks and Recreation capital improvement projects on the web. - Financial Assistance: The Financial
Assistance Program was created to provide economically
disadvantaged individuals access to recreational
facilities and programs. Applications are available
for Youth Enrichment Services Program (YES) with
the primary focus on youth between the ages of 2-17.
Financial Assistance for Adults (AFA) 18 years of
age and over was passed by City Council on February
7, 2005.
Applications are available online or at the downtown Parks & Recreation office
located at 7th and Broadway.
