- Salmonella in Water Frogs - the CDC is investigating a multi-state outbreak of Salmonellosis. Missouri currently has 2 cases that meet case definition, plus 2 more that occurred in the two weeks just prior to the currently defined period. The preliminary suspected source of infection is African Dwarf Water Frogs, and possibly other aquarium pets.
