Health Department.
These services prevent epidemics and the spread of disease, protect against environmental hazards, promote healthy behaviors, prevent injuries and illness, assure the quality and accessibility of health services and monitor the health of the population.

What types of complaints does the Health Department respond to?
County Nuisances
Report a nuisance outside the city limits of Columbia or any other incorporated municipality. The County nuisance ordinance applies to weeds, trash, junk, and unlicensed vehicles.
