Prior to the adoption of Ord. 19518 on 05/07/2007, Section 13-53 read as follows.

Any person aggrieved by the denial of any license issued under this article shall have the right to appeal the ~~denial to the city council~~ decision pursuant to the procedure for appealing a license denial set out in section 13-31 . ~~The appeal shall be made within ten (10) calendar days after the date on the notice of denial. The city council shall act upon the appeal at its next regular council meeting.~~
