Chapter 13 LICENSES, PERMITS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS REGULATIONS*
Section 13-159 Same; investigation of applicant.
The department of finance shall investigate each applicant
for a license as a private detective
or for a detective agency
for
moral character and fitness, the
applicant’s
experience in
the
detective
business, the character of service the
applicant
expect
s
to perform, and the manner in
which
the
business is to be carried on.
The department of finance shall obtain a criminal record
check of the applicant.
